CAROLYN ENCISO SIEVE

Carolyn Enciso Sieve has represented employers of all sizes in business litigation and employment matters for more than twenty years. Currently, she is a partner with Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete LLP, a law firm with nearly 200 lawyers across 15 states that focuses on helping employers navigate the ever-changing laws and regulations that govern the workplace. She opened and now manages Constangy’s Orange County, California office. 


Carolyn represents employers in single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, and representative and class action lawsuits, in both state and federal court, including claims for discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour, trade secrets, and other statutory and common law claims arising from the employment relationship. She has also represented corporate clients in litigation involving business torts and breach of contract, unfair business practices, and consumer class action claims. Carolyn is skilled in all facets of discovery and fact-gathering, legal research, law and motion, and courtroom advocacy. She is widely regarded in the legal community as an effective advocate in all phases of litigation and in mediations.


In addition to her litigation practice, Carolyn provides counseling and advice to employers regarding a variety of employment issues, from handbooks, to interactive process, to protection of trade secrets.
Carolyn is a graduate of Temple University School of Law and, after her graduation from law school, clerked for the Honorable Thomas Tang of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She is rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.


Carolyn is a founding member and Treasurer of the Filipino-American Lawyers of Orange County (FLOC). And she loves spending time with her family (twin 15-year-old daughters, Lauren and Olivia, and husband, Mark) and extended family; travel; hiking; and her two book clubs.
